Wish to add a romantic touch to your bedroom? Euroblinds’ experienced shading consultants have gathered for you the easiest and most practical tips.

   1. Choose the Right Colour

Obviously, adding a romantic note in your bedroom requires a limited range of colours. One of our best choices is the sweet mint hue, blending vivacity and freshness without tiring the eye.

You could use this colour as a primary colour for your bedroom's walls, and then add style with some sponging painting or other similar techniques behind the bed, or a more intense but similar colour matching your wardrobe. To finish, use black, gold, bronze, coral or grey for a more relaxing feeling.

   2. Prefer Vintage Furniture

Vintage furniture brings out this slightly ‘sloppy look, which is just perfect for romantic bedrooms. A wooden bed in natural colours, like the ones of beech wood, oak, or rose-wood, and matching bedside tables, which remind more of living-room side tables, afford a fantastic visual result.

If you keen on more extreme options, instead of bedside tables use a well-picked log of wood, a chair or a stack of old books rising as high as your bed, or any of your nanna’s old side tables - obviously, after renovating them a bit.

If you wish for a more impressive, luxury-wise, visual outcome, replace the bedside tables with a piece of vintage furniture with a mirror attached, or combined with a chiffonier, a floor lamp and a small table.

   3. What About a Wallpaper?

A well-picked wallpaper with anastatic designs can do wonders for your bedroom. It may sound a bit old-fashioned, but romanticism itself stems from a bygone age. You can also use wallpaper to cover the worn out panels of your old wardrobe. Mind the colour combination.

   4. Pick Matching Curtains and Accessories

Obviously, the curtains you will choose should match your wallpaper. They could be of similar design but in a different hue, or even be monochromatic. Well-picked accessories, such as cushions and a bread spread, can also deliver a tremendous outcome.
