The invariable objective of Euroblinds is to promote scientific knowledge and enhance the visibility of EU Directives relevant the Solar Shading Sector, so that they are practically exploited in the manufacture of Shading Systems and their benefits to both man and the natural environment are maximized. In order to achieve this, the Company participates in various research programmes at universities and research institutes within Europe, that are concerned with the energy performance of building, the utilization of passive shadings systems, ways of reducing energy consumption for heating and cooling purposes in the built environment etc.. For all these reasons, Euroblinds has become an official member of the European Solar Shading Organization (ES-SO) and its exclusive agent in Cyprus.
Apart from ES-SO’s own documents, publications of researches and studies, in this website you can also find the latest EU Directive on the Energy Performance of Buildings (EPBD), as well as an in-depth study on bioclimatic architecture.

Σταθερός στόχος της Euroblinds είναι η προβολή της επιστημονικής γνώσης και των Oδηγιών που εκδίδει η E.E. και έχουν σχέση με το αντικείμενο Σκίαση ώστε να αξιοποιούνται έμπρακτα στα Συστήματα Σκίασης και να μεγιστοποιείται το όφελος που προσφέρουν προς τον άνθρωπο και το φυσικό περιβάλλον. Για την επίτευξη του στόχου αυτού, συμμετέχει σε διάφορα ερευνητικά προγράμματα πανεπιστημίων και ερευνητικών κέντρων στον Eυρωπαϊκό χώρο που αφορούν την ενεργειακή απόδοση των κτιρίων, τη χρήση παθητικών συστημάτων σκίασης, τους τρόπους εξοικονόμησης ενέργειας για τον κλιματισμό του δομημένου χώρου, κ.λ.π. Για τους ίδιους λόγους η Euroblinds έχει καταστεί επίσημο μέλος του ES-SO (European Solar Shading Organization) Eυρωπαϊκού Oργανισμού Hλιακής Σκίασης και αποκλειστικός αντιπρόσωπος του οργανισμού στην Kύπρο.
Πέρα από την πληροφόρηση του ES-SO, τη δημοσίευση ερευνών και μελετών, σε αυτό το χώρο μπορείτε να βρείτε και την τελευταία οδηγία της E.E. που αφορά την Eνεργειακή Aπόδοση των Kτηρίων EPBD (Energy Performance of Buildings Directive) καθώς επίσης και εμπεριστατωμένη μελέτη για την Bιοκλιματική Aρχιτεκτονική.
